📌 Using fresh yarn:
(Ch 2, 2 DC in the next stitch, Ch 2 in the same stitch, slst in the next stitch) x 9

Finishing:

  • Slip stitch the last tentacle to the first chain-2.
  • Cut the yarn, leaving a long tail, and sew it securely into the body.

🎀 Extra Touch: Add pink yarn below the eyes for blush or embroider a tiny smile!

How to Secure a Keychain Properly

Since chenille yarn is fragile, use acrylic yarn for attaching the keyring.

🪢 Keychain Attachment Method:
1️⃣ Thread acrylic yarn into a tapestry needle.
2️⃣ Insert it from the bottom of the octopus and pull through the top.
3️⃣ Attach the keyring, then pull the yarn back through the body.
4️⃣ Knot it securely and hide the excess yarn inside.
